Exclusive Real Estate Interview

By Interviewer at 02/25/09 10:18

Name of your website?

Exclusive Real Estate

Your name?

David Nash

Your Location (city, etc)

Atlanta

Please give us a short summary of your website?

The website proposes to list recommended New Home Builders in Atlanta, Austin, California, Chicago, Cincinnati, Colorado, Connecticut, Dallas, Denver and other cities and regions

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Lack of focused real estate websites which gives recommended options to Buyers. What we have are unfocused with too many listings which forces home buyers lose time enquiring on multiple listings of average quality.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Exclusive Real is our first website and was launched in Jan 2009.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The listings at the website will be pre qualified. Obviously they are of Exclusive natue. Hence the name Exclusive Real.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

The Focus! We are focused to provide only the best, limited and exclusive options to New Home Buyers.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We have plans to monitize the website by ensuring quality listings which will eventually be on chargeable basis to new Home Builders.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We wish to build popularity steadily by using avenues on the internet. We do not wish to burn cash or time but rather work seriously while conserving funds.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We have to add a elaborate back end and admin console. We hope to build that once we have sufficient cash flows.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Absolutely. We are committed to the idea.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Not yet! We are moving forward with care.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The current slow down in the New Home Market. We believe that we will be able to build a base and ready the website to grab market when boom returns.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Blogs, PR

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

We are in early stage of launch and we will evaluate the situation quarterly and take appropriate action.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We are in the first quarter. We fully appreciate that with the current global financial crisis, we may not be able to generate revenue for couple of years or more. We plan to stick with the idea and wait for the market to return!

What is your target for your First Million?

OOPS! We have not put a target yet!

What is your website address?

Exclusive Real Estate
