Rainforest Realty will give you personalized service with your needs for belize real estate, offshore banking, investment in buying Belize properties and management of your holdings. Belizean Property Consultants expert advice on relocating or retiring in Central America
What inspired you to launch your own website?
This new website was a real need to show a maximum of information about the life and the community in Belize but also to display our real estate listings by districts and sector of activity.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
In 2004 when starting the business in Belize. First website was more a blog than a website and was visible at http://www.rainforestrealty.com (Now this is a redirection to our new website)
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Rainforest Realty is the Name of the business
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Well, it is not only about business... It is also about passion. Of course we have our real listings but even the way we are showing it looks different from others and the common way to do so ;-) On the other side, we are in love with Belize and we have chosen to give to visitors a maximum of information about social life, events, etc...
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
This is the official website of the Company.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Well, since the launch of this new website we have a lot more visitors and contacts/subscribers to the newsletter. The new website is only 4 months old and we still have things to do but it's going on a really positive way.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
You'll see maybe one day ;-) LOL
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes of course... The team is already right here and it is just about a correct organization...
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Not really unexpected costs and headaches are most of the time for the webmaster ;-)
What has been your biggest challenge?
Get back all listings from the first website to the new one... It takes time and it is a lot of work.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Internal SEO and referencement: done by our webmaster
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
Much more than expected and really happy about that
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
4 months for the new one and we enjoy it.
