What inspired you to launch your own website?
Necessity. Needed to promote my real estate franchise to buyers throughout the world.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
This is my first. It was launched in January 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Wanted to keep it simple and to the point.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
We are very proud of the large number of pictures we have for all of our listings. Our site also offers numerous, free, downloadable reports and information packages.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep it!

We're getting there (slowly but surely).
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I don't think I would.

Yes! I would hire more agents.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None, so far.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Learing design and getting a feel for what looks good and keeps people coming back.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Individual listing promotions.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
SEO is constant not just a one time thing as I originally assumed.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
2 and 1/2 years. Plan on keeping it going.
